GSI TO EDUCATE CUSTOMERS ON NEW SERVICE OFFERINGS AT THE HONG KONG JEWELRY & GEM FAIR
Representatives from GSI will be on-hand to educate consumers on the company’s first inline services including the testing and screening of loose diamonds, jewelry, and lab-grown diamonds
Mumbai – September 17, 2019 – Gemological Science International (GSI), one of the largest gemological organizations in the world, will attend the upcoming Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair at the Hong Kong Convention Center at Hall 3E Concourse at Booth No. 3M226. Representatives from GSI will be on-hand to introduce customers to its new Inventory Integrity program and educate consumers on existing service offerings.
GSI, known for combining cutting-edge-technology with industry-proven tools and techniques, is best known for being the first lab in the world to screen small diamonds in bulk. Its latest innovation is its new Inventory Integrity seal– marking a retailer’s successful review and maintenance of a clear delineation between natural and lab-grown diamonds. The program is a direct response to the proliferation and consumer demand of lab-grown diamonds, and the steps the diamond industry must take to ensure integrity within the supply chain. As brand standard, GSI always maintains International Standards for Synthetic diamond screening by grading the 4 C’s (carat, cut, clarity and color).
In addition to this new initiative, representatives from GSI will be on-site to discuss its signature offerings including its education programs, custom grading reports, and detection services in depth. Currently, its loose diamond detection services include loose diamond origin testing, loose diamond screening, on-site diamond origin screening, and on-site diamond jewelry screening. GSI’s studded jewelry detection services include diamond jewelry random origin testing, diamond jewelry comprehensive origin testing, diamond jewelry screening, diamond jewelry treatment testing, melee/star batch origin testing and melee/star batch screening.
GSI is a world leader in gemological services, with 13 gemological laboratories across four continents, combining state-of-the-art technology with the highest ethical standards. GSI recently opened a new 4,200-square-foot Laboratory in New York dedicated to the screening and detection of undisclosed diamonds to continue its groundbreaking work.
