GSI Opens Satellite Office in Israel
Gemological Science International (GSI), the third-largest gemological laboratory in the U.S., recently opened a satellite office in Israel. Located in the Diamond Tower in Ramat Gan, GSI Israel is the latest in the company’s expansion, according to CEO Mark Gershburg.
“GSI is now strategically positioned in three of the world’s major centers: New York City, Mumbai where we recently expanded top management, and now Ramat Gan. These changes will allow us to better attend to the needs of our international clientele and to continue the implementation of our long-term plans,” said Mr. Gershburg. “The increased need for lab services is a very positive sign not only for GSI but for our entire industry,” he added.
In the near future, GSI plans to expand the Israeli satellite office into a full-fledged laboratory, which will deliver the wide range of lab services that the company offers in the U.S. and India.
