Full Diamond Examination Report (FDX): Provides detailed information on a diamond's 4C's parameters, including the plot.
Intermediate Diamond Examination Report (IDX): This Passport size report, provides information on a diamond's 4C's parameters along with other gemstone information.
Modified Diamond Examination Report (MDX): This Credit Card size report, provides information on a diamond's 4C's parameters along with other gemstone information.
Full Gemstone Examination Report (FGX): Provides detailed information on the Gemstone's Species, Variety, Treatments & Geographic Origin if any.
Natural Diamond Reports
The GSI Diamond Reports comprehensively evaluate a diamond's 4Cs - Carat weight, Color, Clarity, and Cut along with a visual representation of its proportions and a plot diagram illustrating its clarity characteristics.
The report clearly discloses any permanent treatments.
Laboratory Grown Diamond Reports
The GSI Laboratory Grown Diamond Reports hold a different appearance to ensure a clear distinction from GSI Natural diamond reports.
The report clearly mentions that the diamond is Laboratory Grown. GSI's Laboratory Grown Diamond Reports are issued for both loose and jewelry and essentially carry the same information as found in GSI’s Natural diamond reports.
It is important to note that these reports are not issued for diamond simulants or laboratory-grown diamonds subjected to temporary treatments, maintaining the integrity of the assessment process.
