GSI Hosted Workshop at Kerala Gem & Jewellery Show 2014, Kerala
Mumbai, 27th November, 2014 – Gemological Science International (GSI) a full-service, high-tech lab designed specifically to meet the rapidly changing needs of the jewelry industry, participates at the Kerala Gems and Jewellery Show (KGJS), 2014. At this premier industry platform, GSI hosts an interesting and informative workshop on the understanding of Diamonds, every day from 06th December until 8th December 2014 at KGJS, Kerala.
Neeta Shah, VP of India Operations said, “So many people tell me that they would love to understand their diamonds, but find it hard to. Everyone has heard of the four Cs i.e. Cut, Clarity, Carat, and Color, but it becomes difficult for them to use this knowledge practically. Therefore, we based our workshop on answering their questions as simply and practically as possible.”
Mark Gershburg, CEO, GSI further adds, “The workshop will be conducted by highly professional and dedicated staff with vast experience in grading loose and diamond jewelry. GSI uses the most advanced proprietary software as well as the newest technology during each step of the process.”
Furthermore, GSI experienced tremendous growth worldwide and in India particularly. GSI has a lab in Thrissur which serves the gem and jewelry industry based in South India region, therefore it’s completely logical for GSI to exhibit in Kerala. All show visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with GSI’s services and reports, and GSI’s existing customers will be able to learn about our new products.
The workshop covers the following in detail:
- Identification of Diamond
- Grading Symmetry & Polish of a Diamond
- Tips on Jewelry Grading
- Clarity Grading of Loose & Mounted Grading
The GSI booth will be located in the CIAL Trade Fair & Exhibition Centre (Booth No. G11).
